It's wonderful to hear from you. How have you and your family been?
My boys are growing quickly. I keep a blog (well, not it's not updated at the moment because I've given it and Facebook up for Lent) that pretty much documents what's going on. You can visit [link] if you want to see how big my boys are now. *smile*
Thank you for the kind comments. To answer your question about the hair...I start out with a 3D hair (in this case 3Dream's Paradise Hair) and then just paint over and under it in Photoshop. Postwork is still my favorite part of doing digital art. *smile*
Welcome to Deviant! There are a lot of great resources here. love, Dani
Thanks for sharing the link Dani, went straight over to get an update and GOSH, they have for sure growed ALOT since I saw them latest lol. Handsome boys!
My girls is doing great, Nikita turn 14 and JaShea 7 both in April. I'm working as a photographer and retoucher so all the graphic job has been put aside. Love to play from time to time but that's about it Allgood is still here in Sweden, hasn't even been visit US since he left 8 years ago. He loves it over here
Will try to get this hair painting down. (I start out with a 3D hair (in this case 3Dream's Paradise Hair)) are you adding this in Poser first? Haven't played in that program for years, have no clue where to start lol.
Thanks for the warm welcome I really enjoy browsing the site, alot of nice artists here!!
Wow! 14 and 7...JaShea was just a baby last time we talked. Your girls are getting big too! I don't mean to be nosy and if I am please just ignore...are you two still together?
I start with a Poser render. I finally, after many, many years of using Poser 4, upgraded to PoserPro just last year. It's been quite an adjustment. Using Poser is my least favorite part of creating the image...I love the postworking/Photoshop part. love, Dani
LOL, I know it's crazy.. the time is running so quick! JaShea is a tall girl and has hair that you can just not belive lol.. will put up some picture here of the girls so you can take a look. I have some model picture of them on the site [link] if you wish to see.
No need to feel nosy of course you can ask Oh yeas we are still together lol.. Maybe it's time for a update.. hahaha just kidding
Thanks Dani You do too!! Great to catch up and see how the kids has growen up. Do you have contact with anyone else from Pixelitas? I miss that "old" group ALOT!!.. Checking in from time to time but it seams to have change alot?
Let's see...not recently but we've been in touch over the years. Don't know if you know any of these but...
Dana/Jaguarwoman: She's still creating beautiful graphics.
Lucy/Finfond.net: She's been taking gorgeous photos and creating some really pretty hand drawn clipart.
Stephanie Baker-Thomas: She did all those great PhotoImpact books. Steph has an Etsy Shop and sells graphics and really nice handmade soaps.
Di/Birklea: She works with her new hubby at creating Poser and Scrapbooking textures for DAZ and other stores.
Debbie M./Moonlight Designs (Montique): She works for Renderosity.
And recently, I hooked up with Nancy (she did all those great BladePro (NL) presets) and Cindy Baker (made all the beautiful little baby graphics) on Facebook. That's all I can remember for the moment. *smile* love, Dani
